Efforts are being made this week to raise awareness of Parkinson's Disease, which affects up to 500 Manx residents.
The Isle of Man Parkinson’s Disease Society has been running for 20 years, and will be holding events to let the public know more about the work it does.
As well as collections, there will be a Sunday service at Ballaugh Church this weekend.
Chairman of the society Pamela Shimwell-Mayo says people with collecting tins will be out and about all week raising funds:
Vote on Castle Rushen High School funding 'very unlikely' before election

DfE provided more than £250,000 to MT to assist with below ground fibre installations
