Engineers due at midday
UPDATE 12:39 - Repairs have now finished, with the vessel expected to leave at 12:45 this afternoon. It's due back in Douglas around 4pm
Passengers on this morning’s Manannan sailing to Belfast have been stuck within 'touching distance' of the port for several hours.
The vessel arrived there at 10:10am to find the linkspan at Albert Quay broken and on site workers unable to fix the problem.
The Steam Packet has asked an engineering team from Northern Ireland to make repairs.
They're due to arrive at midday.
