Manx Care says it's aware of patients' concerns over access appointments at Southern Group Practice
Manx Care says it's aware of residents experiencing difficulties when booking GP appointments in the south of the Island.
Patients have recently contacted Manx Radio to highlight the challenges they'd faced booking an appointment at Southern Group Practice.
In response, the Island's healthcare provider says "Manx Care is aware that some patients have raised concerns about access to appointments at Southern Group Practice.
"Demand for GP appointments can vary between practices and over time, and practices use different systems to balance routine and urgent care. Manx Care continues to work with GP practices to monitor access and patient experience.
"Anyone with concerns is encouraged to contact the Manx Care Advice and Liaison Service (MCALS) so issues can be formally logged and reviewed."
MCALS can be contacted on 642642 or by emailing mcals@gov.im.
