Furry friends to be remembered
A touching tribute to lost pets is at the centre of a proposed new development at a charity's headquarters in Onchan.
The Manx Blind Welfare Society wants to build an outdoor area dedicated to dogs at its premises on Heywood Avenue.
Plans have been filed for a new tranquility area, a 'freedom run' exercise area for assistance dogs, and a memorial wall for furry friends who have passed away.
The monument would consist of thousands of hooks to hang customised steel pet tags upon, which would poignantly jingle in the wind.
Six new car parking spaces are also included in the blueprints.
