MUA claims water quality remains good
Peel MHK Ray Harmer says delays to work to assess and fix a crack in the town's sewage outflow are 'unacceptable'.
Raw sewage continues to leak into the bay, as there are currently not enough divers available from the Department of Infrastructure's team to do anything.
The Manx Utilities Authority has said it will be Monday next week at the earliest before anything is done, having originally said the work would be done this week.
The MUA has claimed that water quality remains 'good', according to the standards the Isle of Man uses, which are from the 1970s and 1990s.
