67-year-old caught shouting abuse in street
A pensioner from Douglas has been fined £200 after calling her neighbour a ‘Nazi prostitute’.
Selina Corris, from Woodbourne Road, was caught shouting at the person inside the neighbouring property on 7 June.
Footage captured on a doorbell camera also showed the 67-year-old describing her neighbour as a ‘collaborator’.
At Douglas Courthouse she admitted displaying provoking behaviour telling the court: “I am guilty but I wish to apologise. This should never have come to court.”
Corris’ advocate said there was a ‘degree of ill feeling’ between the parties adding: “It is quite clear that Ms Corris does have some issues.”
Magistrates also ordered her to pay £125 in prosecution costs.
