Health department hopes for 'swift and efficient' vaccine rollout
People are being asked not to use the 111 Covid helpline for questions about the vaccination programme.
Government says the team is registering people for their jabs and booking appointments, but not there to provide any clinical guidance.
Instead the Department of Health and Social Care is pointing people to the Frequently Asked Questions page at gov.im or to contact their GP with any questions.
Health Minister David Ashford says the system is managing the 'most extensive mass vaccination programme ever undertaken in the Isle of Man'.
He adds it's to protect the vulnerable 'swiftly and efficiently'.
When it's someone's turn to get their jab, a letter will be sent out from the department, inviting them to call 111 to register.
Once an appointment has been booked, another letter or email is sent out, which the person must bring with them to the vaccination centre.
