Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital is temporarily closed for essential works
Planning permission is being sought to place a temporary dental unit in the car park at Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital.
If approved, the proposed unit would be mounted on an HGV trailer for 18 months to address the current closure of the site.
The medical facility is currently undergoing essential maintenance work after significant issues were uncovered during efforts to tackle a pest infestation on Martin Ward.

It’s led to some services being relocated to Douglas, including the Smile Dental Clinic.
At the moment there is no alternative dental facility in the north.
