Committee formed to look into upkeep of routes
Tynwald has agreed to look into establishing a more efficient way of coordinating the upkeep of Manx footpaths.
A new committee will consider a petition handed in on Tynwald Day by campaigner David Buttery.
It was something brought to the court by Douglas South MHK Sarah Maltby.
He wanted a single government agency to take on the job of maintaining public rights of way.
Mr Buttery says he only became aware of the state of the country and coastal routes during lockdown:
'Too early to tell' what caused fire
Firefighting foam may have killed fish in Silverburn River
Additional road closure for TT filming ahead of MGP qualifying
'Knives and sharp implements' left outside charity shops
