Plaque to be presented
An international 'master' is leading a weekend of Pilates workshops in the Island from today (Saturday).
Michael King has been studying the technique for four decades and has trained a number of the Island's instructors.
His visit coincides with the 49th anniversary of the death of German pioneer Joseph Pilates, who was interned at Knockaloe during World War One.
Later today a plaque will be presented to the Knockaloe Visitors Centre in memory of the discipline's namesake.
Michael says he's looking forward to a packed weekend at Zoe's Yoga and Pilates Studio in Braddan:
Island's finances 'in a better position than most other jurisdictions'
Completion of assisted dying bill 'the most significant moment of 2025'
Keep dogs away from Garwick Beach for next few days
Cost of sending a letter on the Island to increase in January
