Plans for Crosby housing development

Deadline to raise concerns

Up to 36 houses could be built in a new development in Crosby, if planners give the go ahead to amended proposals.

The development, under the name of James Cowell in Douglas, is on a site just off Church Road in Crosby.

Plans have been re-advertised following amendments and additions.

Concerns about the development have been raised by local residents, regarding access to the site and environmental impact, particularly relating to mature trees in the area.

The proposals include car parking, vehicular, pedestrian and cycle access to the site on the grounds of Close Jairg Beg and on land adjacent to Close Jairg Beg.

Comments or objections must be raised by Friday, September 16.
