Walking and cycling focus of strategy
A plan to encourage people to be more active has been given the green light by politicians.
The Active Travel Strategy aims to make walking and cycling more realistic options for people around the Island.
During the debate, Infrastructure Minister conceded that giving up their vehicles for all journeys wasn't an option for everyone.
One MHK who highlighted the issues some may face was Douglas East member Clare Bettison.
The strategy was unanimously approved by members.
