Home affairs minister issues bill pledge, plans refuge
The Department of Home Affairs says it's looking to do more to tackle domestic abuse.
Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey has promised the first reading of a new bill designed to better deal with such crimes will take place in October or November.
Speaking alongside Chief Constable Gary Roberts on Manx Radio's Perspective programme earlier, Mr Malarkey said he's also looking to set up a new facility:
