Cregeen references scheme during budget debate
Plans have been unveiled to build a new secondary school in the south of the Island to replace Castle Rushen.
The news was confirmed by Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan during his Manx Budgest speech yesterday.
It forms part of a five-year capital investment programme of almost £430m.
Education Minister Graham Cregeen referenced the scheme - as well as plans to improve QEII - when he spoke in support of the budget:
