Plenty on the agenda for TravelWatch meeting

The loss of the Island's Flybe base next spring will be high on the agenda at a meeting of TravelWatch this morning (Sat)

Air links with the UK, the Steam Packet User Agreement and bendy buses are also likely to be raised at the passenger watchdog's public meeting.

The announcement of large-scale cuts by Flybe has raised concerns about the airline's routes from the Island to the UK, although the airline currently states it remains committed to providing a service to and from the Island.

Terry Liddiard is the spokesman on aviation matters for the group.

He believes the writing has been on the wall since Flybe announced their restructuring plans

This morning's meeting is at the Villa Marina - 9.30 for a 10am start.
