Management committed to further talks
Premium services will be prioritised during industrial action this Thursday and Friday planned by CWU postal workers.
This was confirmed by Chair of the Post Office, Julie Edge MHK, in response to an emergency question from Onchan MHK Rob Callister in Tynwald this morning.
Ms Edge expressed her disappointment that action was planned during the Post Office's busiest time of the year - but said management were committed to further talks with the CWU.
She went on to outline the contingency plans in place:
Meningitis B vaccination scheme to be rolled out on-Island
Balthane Roundabout plans on hold until 2027/28 as costs rise
Port St Mary lifeboat launched to rescue stricken fishing vessel
Enquiries ongoing after 'shotgun-like sound' heard near Police Headquarters
