A senior officer from the Isle of Man Constabulary's Road Policing Unit believes the joint road safety campaign with the Department of Infrastructure has been effective this year.
There has been oneĀ fatal accident, and a least one other in which a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries, but so far the overall the number of incidents is down on TT fortnight last year.
Inspector Mark Britton says it's difficult to say why that is, but he won't be happy untilĀ there are no accidents at all:
Island's finances 'in a better position than most other jurisdictions'
Completion of assisted dying bill 'the most significant moment of 2025'
Keep dogs away from Garwick Beach for next few days
Cost of sending a letter on the Island to increase in January
