Police appeal after £800 chainsaw theft

Witnesses sought before anyone handles stolen goods

Police are appealing for witnesses after the theft of two chainsaws in Ramsey.

The goods worth around £400 each were taken overnight last night - preventing workmen from doing their jobs today.

One is an Oregon Double Guard 350 inch chainsaw, the other; a Stihl Rollomatic.

Anyone offered these items for sale is asked to remember that they could be stolen, and if these specific models are purchased, the act may result in prosecution.

Officers are keen to find out where the chainsaws are - and ask people with details to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234.
