Police are appealing for information after debris from a silver vehicle was found in Ballasalla in the early hours of this morning.
Officers, who spotted the debris at around 4am, say the driver appears to have collided with fencing on the Douglas bound carriageway outside the airport before leaving the scene.
The Constabulary currently suspect a vehicle may have been taken without the owners consent from the Castletown area.
Anyone who's been out overnight and seen a vehicle, possibly a van, with damage to the front and a passenger headlight missing, is urged to contact police headquarters.
