Liverpool flight targeted approaching Ronaldsway
Police say they will try and find the person responsible for shining a laser into an aircraft's cockpit earlier this week.
Officers have described the action as 'reckless' and are urging people to think more carefully about their actions.
The flight, which was approaching the airport when it was targeted, landed safely at Ronaldsway.
Inspector Gavin Callow says the situation could have been much worse:
Main road between Peel and Douglas to shut for tree felling
'Targeted and intelligence led approach' to protect Island's borders during Irish sailings
Airport Director role advertised with top salary of £120,000
