Search continues for missing man

A specially trained officer is currently supporting his family

The search to find a missing man in the north of the Island has entered its fifth day.

Police are continuing to appeal for any information or sightings of Jamie Barrow - who was last seen on Sunday (17 September).

In a statement, the constabulary says a specially trained officer is currently supporting his family whilst authorities continue to identify any lines of enquiry that will assist in finding him.

Members of the public are urged to be vigilant and particularly look out for any quantity of white paint as it's believed Jamie had approximately six large tins of white paint in his possession when he was last seen.

Anyone who may have any information regarding this or if anyone comes across any discarded tins of paint are advised to contact police.

The public are urged to refrain from assisting with the open area searches at this time however people with any outbuildings or unoccupied properties in Ramsey or Maughold are asked to assist by searching them.
