
Police in Marown are appealing for information about a road accident in which they believe a car was seriously damaged.
It happened just before 10.30pm on Wednesday near the junction of Ellerslie Road and Glen Darragh in Marown, when a vehicle thought to be a silver Ford C-MAX, smashed into a gatepost and drove off.
Officers say the vehicle will have sustained substantial impact damage.
Police want to trace the driver and anyone with information about the incident.
