Green damaged overnight
Police are hunting vandals who damaged a golf course with a vehicle last night.
Officers are investigating damage to Douglas Golf Club’s 15th green after a vehicle – possibly a motorbike – was driven across it between 4pm yesterday and 8am this morning.
They say staff have been working hard over winter to maintain the course, and the damage causes major disruption.
