Police in Ramsey are investigating a collision in which a wall was almost demolished.
It happened around 1pm on Wednesday at the entrance to the car park at the rear of the town hall.
Only one car was involved and it failed to stop after the incident.
Officers want to speak to the driver of an old-style Ford Transit mini bus, which is thought to have been on an organised trip.
The vehicle is believed to have stopped to allow a number of youths to go to a nearby takeaway restaurant.
Anybody who can help is asked to ring the police in Ramsey, on 812234.
