Public urged to ensure valuables and properties are secure
Police are urging people to secure their valuables, and ensure their properties and vehicles are always locked, ahead of the festive season.
Officers in Peel are investigating after symbols were spray painted outside at least two properties in the town last week.
It’s led to speculation on social media that the marks could have been placed by people intent on committing burglary.
But Sergeant Scott Fielding from the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team told Manx Radio there’s no reason for undue concern:
