Police investigations 'ongoing' after 'suspicious items' found in Port Erin

Two people arrested in connection with incident still in custody

Police investigations are still ongoing into an incident which saw 61 homes evacuated in Port Erin at the weekend.

A 'small scene' in Pairk Beg is still being retained by police after the discovery of 'suspicious items' there on Sunday afternoon.

Officers say as a result there will continue to be activity in the area.

Two people arrested in Port St Mary in connection with the incident remain in custody and are assisting police with their enquiries.
