The Isle of Man Constabulary have issued a warning to motorists not to drink and drive.
Officers have said 'a picture paints a thousand words' when sharing photographs from the scene of a crash on social media.
The images show the destroyed bonnet of a blue car at a junction.
They say no one was hurt in the incident, and the driver of the vehicle remains in police custody.
