Officers urge recipients of such calls to hang up
Anyone who receives a phone call warning their internet is about to be cut off because of illegal activity should hang up.
Police say they've been contacted by members of the public receiving calls from an automated voice.
It tells the recipient of the call to press option one, but officers are urging those receiving such a call not to press any buttons, and end the call instead.
