Twitter recognition for Island officers
Manx police have been nominated in a set of awards that recognises the best police social media accounts.
The Police Twitter Awards are supported by RawCut TV, who produce documentaries about police forces such as Police Interceptors and Crime Scene Forensics.
Tweetbeat, the Manx service’s day-to-day account, has been nominated for Best Tweeting Corporate Police Account.
The Island’s police dogs are in the running for Best Tweeting Dog Account and there are Island entrants in the Best Blogging Police Officer and Best Tweeting Police Sergeant categories.
