Public praised after Desmond disruptions
The work of the emergency services over the last few days has been oustanding.
That's according to Inspector Derek Flint.
Stormy conditions have devastated large regions across the Island since Thursday.
Police, fire crews, the Department of Infrastructure and the Civil Defence are among services helping the worst hit areas.
Inspector Flint also praised the public for their assistance:
Friday evening sailings subject to possible disruption or cancellation
More services to be temporarily relocated from Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital
Warning in place for coastal overtopping
Port St Mary father continues to fight for change in drug laws
