Warning issued after public's concerns
The Isle of Man Constabulary says even its own officers have been targeted by a recent scam.
A number of calls have been received from "worried members of the public", police say, in relation to automated phone calls.
The caller says they are from the recipient's internet provider, and threatens they are going to get cut off.
Officers say "please do not engage with this, and please let family, friends and others know that it is a scam."
