Range and street exercises for officers
Manx police are undertaking firearms training in public spots on Island this week.
The Isle of Man Constabulary insists it's just 'routine training', but adds it is a welcome provision in light of recent terror attacks in the UK.
Officers are training at specially-prepared ranges, and on the streets.
Inspector Gavin Callow says it's aimed at bringing their skills in line with UK counterparts:
Calls for forensic Manx Care audit 'misguided'
Minimum Wage Committee agrees with rate change
Consultation to protect Manx charities from terrorist financing
This morning's Heysham and Liverpool sailings cancelled
