Traffic built up around Onchan and Ballacraine last night

Motorists are being urged to allow extra time to get home after traffic caused delays around Onchan and Ballacraine last night.

The congestion built up in the hour before the majority of the roads around the TT Course closed.

The Isle of Man Constabulary is urging drivers not to leave their journeys until the last minute as roads are likely to be busier than on the average day.

Meanwhile, those heading out to watch tonight's practice are being advised to get to their destination in good time to help ease congestion.
