Reminder over Mountain Road
Police are warning visitors to ride safely while they’re here for the Festival of Motorcycling as more people arrive for event.
This weekend is traditionally one of the busiest of the year on the Island’s roads as thousands of festivalgoers pack out the Island in time for race week.
Sergeant Will Moffatt from the Roads Policing Unit says people should remember the Mountain Road is two-way, unlike in TT when it’s made one-way from Ramsey to Douglas.
And he says visitors should bear in mind any bans or penalty points here will count when they return to the UK:
