Doctors strikes, artificial intelligence, work permits to feature on question paper
This week's post-Christmas, pre-budget Tynwald sitting will see 23 questions tabled, with fifteen coming from just two members. Onchan MHK Julie Edge has submitted eight questions, while Jason Moorhouse has posed seven.
The recent announcement of doctors' strike action is set to feature prominently, with one of the early questions addressing the issue.
The session begins with four starred questions, including Ms Edge's query about the planned strike.
Both Ms Edge and Mr Moorhouse have raised concerns about children travelling on the Steam Packet, while Ms Edge and Mr Wannenburgh have questions regarding home-educated children.
Ms Edge has also tabled questions on artificial intelligence in schools and the cost of the employee relocation incentive.
Mr Hooper will seek an update on progress with work permit reforms, alongside a starred question about the Cummal Mooar capital scheme.
Speaker of the Keys Juan Watterson is calling for details on the evaluation of regeneration schemes and the publication timeline for business cases related to the budget process.
