Resident numbers grow by 300 over year
A government minister says a snapshot of business sectors and the jobs market can be relied upon – even if it not entirely accurate.
The first quarterly economic report of 2017 suggested the Island’s population grew by around 300 in the past year.
This was after the 2016 census a decline in population for the first time in 30 years.
Policy and Reform head Chris Thomas is hopeful there’s now an upward trend.
