Julie Edge open to further talks with union
The chairman of the Isle of Man Post Office says she's disappointed at the announcement of another strike by Manx postal workers.
The Communication Workers' Union confirmed yesterday that a three-day walkout has been scheduled for February 14 to 16.
Julie Edge has also dismissed claims from the union's deputy general secretary (postal), Terry Pullinger, that the Post Office hasn't responded to a CWU submission sent on 4 January.
She insists the Post Office is open to further negotiations with the CWU.
