Local stamps go up 1p
The Post Office says posting a letter is about to get more expensive.
From Monday 25 April letters to the UK and Isle of Man will cost 45p, a rise of a penny, while large letters and packets will see a 2.5 per cent increase on price weight steps.
KeepSafe, Redirect, private boxes, single collection fees and Door to Door will also have a 2.5 per cent hike.
However, the Post Office says Special Delivery and Parcelforce Worldwide services will have a price freeze and international letters and packets will see their weight steps decrease by 10 per cent.
