IoM Post Office confirms change following Royal Mail update
All postal services from the Island to Israel and Iran are suspended until further notice.
Isle of Man Post Office said it had received confirmation of the update from Royal Mail which came into effect at 7pm on Thursday evening (19 June).
The organisation says Israeli Post had informed that Israel has declared a special state of emergency as of Friday, 13 June with operations at all ports halted and flights and other forms of transportation stopped.
Meanwhile, Iran Post has also told postal officials all international air mail services are suspended following an airstrike on Friday, 13 June.
Any items currently held or received by Isle of Man Post Office for Israel or Iran will be returned to sender.
