Calls for new laws to protect postal workers and give police more powers to prosecute owners
A postal worker was reportedly bitten by a dog whilst distributing leaflets around the Island on dog awareness.
The Isle of Man Post Office is highlighting the issue, and asking people to take measures to prevent incidents - such as; ensuring your dog is safely out of the way before a postal worker arrives, or having a box away from the door for items to be posted into.
