The Island of Culture officially comes to the Henry Bloom Noble Library in Douglas this evening.
It’s celebrating 2014 with monthly presentations, each highlighting a different cultural theme.
It starts tonight at 7.30pm when local historian Peter Kelly gives a presentation on old Manx postcards.
‘Wish you were Here’ features Edwardian postcards showing scenes all around the Island, including some places which are no longer there.
