Posthumous album raises money for bereaved families

'Whispicity' features all original music

Last year the Island lost a bright musical talent, when Cody Atzori died suddenly.

He was a self-taught musician and left behind hundreds of raw recordings.

This year, on what would have been his 19th birthday, his family released an album of his original music.

All proceeds from the album have been donated to Compassionate Friends - a charity based in the UK that helps bereaved parents and siblings.

The album is called "Whispicity" - which is a word Cody came up with himself - as his mum Liz explains:

We'll hear more about Cody, and his music, by speaking to the people that knew him best in tonight's episode of Island Life on Manx Radio at 6pm.

The episode will also be available as a podcast afterwards.
