Posthumous album raises money for bereaved families

'Whispicity' features all original music

Last year the Island lost a bright musical talent, when Cody Atzori died suddenly.

He was a self-taught musician and left behind hundreds of raw recordings.

This year, on what would have been his 19^th birthday, his family released an album of his original music.

All proceeds from the album have been donated to Compassionate Friends - a charity based in the UK that helps bereaved parents and siblings.

The album is called "Whispicity" - which is a word Cody came up with himself - as his mum Liz explains:

We'll hear more about Cody, and his music, by speaking to the people that knew him best in tonight's episode of Island Life on Manx Radio at 6pm.
