
There was a power cut to properties around central Douglas this morning (Fri).
Supplies were affected by a damaged 11kV cable between Chester Street Substation and Mount Havelock Substation.
The problem caused power cuts in Victoria Street, Finch Road, Bucks Road, Upper Church Street, Ridgeway Street, Athol Street, Well Road Hill, Mount Havelock, Mona Street, Victory House, Markwell House.
Engineers have been working to re-route supplies and fix the problem, and power was re-instated around 11.45am
The MEA have apologised for inconvenience caused.
