A protest against bad and wasteful lighting will take place in Douglas this evening.
The Guerrilla Lighting event will see a group of designers and invited interested people holding very low energy torches and showing how different buildings can be illuminated at night.
Head of the United Kingdom office for Professional Lighting Designers Sharon Stammers recently gave a talk on the Island about the potential power of light.
She has been involved in illuminating buildings all over London, Lyon and Cairo and hopes tonight's event will change the way people view lighting:
Vote on Castle Rushen High School funding 'very unlikely' before election
Ramsey Commissioners to host public meeting about cottage hospital
WCAS reuse garages to reopen on trial basis
Manannan's morning sailings cancelled due to weather conditions
