That’s the belief of Home Affairs Minister, Martyn Quayle, after the Constabulary released its half year statistics.
Crime across the Island is down 16 per cent over the past six months.
Drug offences fell by 10 per cent compared to the same period last year, although the latest figure is 39.6 per cent higher than two years ago.
