Meeting to discuss state of NHS dentistry
A local dentist hopes there will be a simple and swift solution to the lengthy waiting times for NHS dentists on the Island.
At the moment, no new Manx patients can access NHS dental care, and the government website states there are "no current vacancies available".
An industry meeting was held at Crookall House last night (Wed 18th), partly to discuss this issue.
Manx Radio was not permitted to attend.
Thanos Karezis, from the Grovemount in Ramsey, says the backlog doesn't need to be there, and prevention should come before cure.
