Sixteen Island primary teachers have completed a year of studying to achieve a new qualification.
The Primary Leadership and Management Training Programme aims to give participants the skills to be future school leaders.
The award will also give recipients the chance to earn a postgraduate certificate in school leadership from the University of Chester.
Tim Crookall, Minister for Education and Children, says having highly skilled staff ready to succeed today's leaders is vital.
Mr Crookall presented the awards yesterday (Mon 13 Oct) at the Isle of Man College.
