Bidding is underway at an auction with a difference.
The entire contents of the former Isle of Man prison are on sale at the Victoria Road site.
Collectors and former inmates are able to pick up a piece of history including security cameras, board beds from the old isolation cells, prisoners’ works of art such as a matchstick model of Big Ben and the prison greenhouse, which used to serve as the education centre.
Some bidders have been disappointed though after items were withdrawn from the sale.
