Phone calls from the Isle of Man prison were relayed to a jury today in the murder trial of a Castletown man.
Ian Anderson, who's 46, denies murdering 60-year-old Neil Roberts from Ballabeg, in late 2013.
Clinical psychologist Doctor Mark Bradley spoke in the witness box at Douglas Courthouse.
Among the evidence brought forward were transcripts from 193 phone calls to and from Mr Anderson at the prison which were read to the jury.
They were used as examples of Mr Anderson's extreme emotional fluctuations in a short amount of time.
One moment he would chastise his wife for having an affair, and the next tell her that he still loved her.
Dr Bradley said Mr Anderson met the criteria of borderline emotionally unstable personality disorder and this would have had an impact on him on the night of the incident.
All witnesses have finished giving evidence and the trial will continue on Tuesday, April 14th at Douglas Courthouse.
