Prison authorities have confirmed a prisoner has been found dead at the facility in Jurby.
The man was discovered in his cell this morning, but he hasn’t yet been named.
Prison governor Alison Gomme says his next of kin has been informed.
The coroner of inquests is conducting enquiries.
